I stop and reflect
what you did for me
that day on Calvery.
You gave Your life
for me,
Because of your
deep, deep love for me.
I close my eyes
and I can see
You dying for me.
I see You hanging there
helpless and alone.
Suffering and bleeding
for me.
I see Your eyes.
I see the crown of thorns
on Your head.
I see You
taking your last breath.
I see the cross
before my eyes.
My dear Jesus
I know why
You died.
You died for me
that day on Calvery,
Because of your
love for me.
That I might live
and forever be set free.
Thank- You my Jesus
for dying for me
that day
on Calvery.
